The Constitution of India offers equal respect to all the religions; accordingly, we do.
We will guide about Unity and care collaborative relationships based on trust and mutual respect of all citizens, like Soldiers perform in Brigade.
We will be fair, honest, transparent and ethical in our conduct; Whatever do by the Brigade must be Respectable of the Public.
Brigade will integrate social services principles, ensuring that what comes from the Public, must goes back to the Public many times more for the betterment of the Public.
“Principles of Brigade (POB)” has been brought out for the functioning of “Janta Brigade Party” and is an attempt to control and command the activities and actions required to be initiated, implemented by the all the Members of “Brigade” till they are the members of JBP.
It is amply clarified here that the foundational aim and underlying objective of this POB is to primarily serve as a ready guideline for the Brigade, so as to provide a fair and transparent, Disciplined Political Brigade for smooth functioning of JBP.
We sincerely hope that this POB will prove to be highly beneficial, helpful and handy for Brigade and assist them in the effective and efficient discharge of their onerous statutory mandate of delivering a free, fair, participative, peaceful and credible Democratic activities.
This Principles of Brigade design to suggest about our behave during the work with:
a) Citizens, Societies, Organizations, environment and our Brigade Members or those who work with us;
b) the societies and the environment in which we work;
c) our political partners and associates, the governments;
d) In this POB, “we or us” means our Brigade and Members of Brigade at any level;
e) This Principles of Brigade sets out our expectations of all those who work with Brigade. We also expect those who deal with us to be aware that this Principles of Brigade underpins everything we do, and in order to work with us they need to act in a manner consistent with it.
f) It is our commitment to protect our status and the values and principles set out in this Principles of Brigade. By doing so, we strengthen our unique culture and identity of Janta Brigade.
The philosophy of Janta Brigade Party is that we must not manage merely in the interests of Party, but equally for Citizens and Society and finally of the interest of the country as a whole.
a) Member of Brigade is committed to the highest moral and ethical standards and will not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form. This commitment reinforces everything that we do.
b) Member of Brigade is committed to serve the citizen through social development activities to benefit the Society as our routine.
c) Member of Brigade is committed to the economic development of the Society and Nation with respect to each and every religion, culture, norms and heritage.
d) Member of Brigade will not compromise safety of the citizens and will provide a safe, healthy and clean social living environment.
e) Member of Brigade shall act with ethics, honesty and integrity, and conform to the highest moral and ethical standards. Our conduct shall be fair and transparent and be perceived as fair and transparent by citizens.

g) Member of Brigade will give due priority to the interests of our Citizens, treating each of them fairly and avoiding unfair discrimination of any kind.
h) The statements that we make to Citizens shall be truthful and made in good faith.
i) Member of Brigade will not engage in any restrictive or unfair practices related to any kind of business.
j) Brigade will provide one platform for our Citizens to raise concerns or queries of their day to day life being a welfare.
k) Member of Brigade will strive to create an environment free from fear of retribution to deal with concerns that are raised or cases reported. No one shall be punished or made to suffer for raising concerns or making disclosures in the public interest.
l) We expect the leaders of our Brigade to demonstrate their commitment to the ethical standards set out in this POB through their own behaviour and by establishing appropriate processes within the Brigade.
m) Member of Brigade will comply with the laws of the country. In the event that the standards prescribed under any applicable law are lower than that of our POB, we shall conduct ourselves as per the provisions of the POB.
Once you got the membership of Brigade, the people start believing in your values and ideals,
a) Therefore, we left the Member of Brigade free to act on their own. We do not guide them. We encourage them and give them opportunities for leadership of the society through Disciplined Brigade Politics. We offer Equal opportunity to all members of Brigade.
b) Brigade provide equal opportunities to all members of Brigade and to all eligible nominations for getting Sansad or Vidhan Sabhha Ticket through performer program. We do not unfairly discriminate on any ground, including race, caste, religion, colour, ancestry, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, ethnic origin, disability or any other category protected by applicable law.
c) While recruiting of Members for Lok Sabha or Vidhan Sabha tickets, the decisions will be based solely on performance based, merit, competence and potential, no recommendation or advantage will be considered in any case. Except the seats where nomination from NWC is required.
d) Brigade follow fair, transparent and clear policies which promote diversity and equality, in accordance with applicable law. These policies provide for clear terms of performance-based program.Principles of Brigade (POB) - Janta Brigade Party Page 4 of 13
e) Members of Brigade will ensure a conducive work environment on tolerance, understanding, mutual cooperation and respect for each other including privacy.
f) Members of Brigade must be treated with dignity and respect. Brigade will not tolerate any form of harassment, whether sexual, physical, verbal or psychological.
g) Brigade have clear and fair disciplinary procedures, which necessarily include an member’s right to be heard.
h) Brigade respect members right to privacy if that is not impact on the reputation of Janta Brigade Party.
i) Brigade do not use forced in any form to join or work with us and to make any donation to Party.
j) Members of Brigade and those representing Brigade in any shape, including National, State or District committee members, shall not, directly or indirectly, offer or receive any illegal or improper payments or comparable benefits that are intended or perceived to obtain undue favours for any task, mission, program.
k) Violation of any law relating to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anticompetition, data privacy, etc. could result in severe financial penalties and termination from the Brigade.
l) Gifts and hospitality are used in the normal course of social activity. However, if offers of gifts or hospitality (including entertainment or travel) are frequent or of substantial value, they may create the perception of, or an actual conflict of interest or an ‘illicit payment’. Therefore, gifts and hospitality given or received should be modest in value and appropriate to maintain the discipline of Brigade.
m) Brigade allow other than members interested in joining associations or involving themselves in civic or public affairs in their personal capacities, provided such activities do not create an actual or potential conflict with the interests of Brigade. That citizens must notify and seek prior approval for any such activity from the competent authority of Brigade.
n) Brigade allow to accepts gifts or hospitality from any source, only if such gift; has modest value and does not create a perception (or an implied obligation) that the giver
o) is entitled to preferential treatment of any kind from Brigade;
To maintain a transparent and reliable Brigade performance, Member of Brigade must notify and seek prior approval for any activity that is related to the Brigade.
a) Member of Brigade will not make any wilful blunders or physical distortion that would compromise the integrity of Brigade, even no such communications and reports will be presented including the financial statements that may questionable on the integrity of Janta Brigade.
b) Member of Brigade will get proper approval for disclosing Brigade operation related information for media and communication purpose. This includes disclosures through any forum or media, including through social media.
c) Member of Brigade will ensure the integrity of personal data and information of Brigade. Member will safeguard the privacy of all such data and information.
d) Member of Brigade will respect and protect all confidential information and intellectual property of the Brigade.
e) Member of Brigade will safeguard the intellectual property and data of Government of India as per policies of law.
f) Member of Brigade will protect the information and intellectual property and data of our Brigade and of the Country.
g) Member of Brigade will use all Brigade assets, tangible and intangible, including computer and communication equipment, for the purpose for which they are provided. Such assets shall not be misused. All Members of Brigade will ensure to minimise the risk of fraud, and misappropriation or misuse of assets.
h) Member of Brigade will comply with all applicable anti-money laundering, anti-fraud and anti-corruption laws and shall establish processes to check for and prevent any breaches of such laws.
a) Member of Brigade must not indulge in any form of business activities, including immediate family, friends or business associates, to derive any benefit from the Brigade. If any running before joining Brigade may update at the time of Joining.
b) Member of Brigade will not be share information with the media, even if it is assured that the source would remain anonymous. Only authorised Member of the Brigade are permitted to speak to the media and provide information.
c) External communication is a serious matter. It must be carefully managed because information put out with reference to Brigade needs to be very clear, truthful and not violate any undertakings given to Public. At every level there are Members nominated to authorise and make different types of statements in the Public or social media. These Members should be consulted about any request for information you may receive or information you think need to circulate in public or social media. In using social media, in particular blogs or social networking sites, Members should exercise great caution while talking about Janta Brigade activities. It may feel like you are chatting with friends and expressing a personal opinion but even while doing so you cannot share any confidential information of the Brigade.
Use of prohibited drugs and substances creates genuine safety and other risks at Brigade workplaces, therefore, Brigade do not tolerate prohibited drugs and substances from being possessed, consumed or distributed at Brigade workplaces, or in the course of Brigade duties.
Members and Committee Members of the Brigade will always act in the interest of the Janta Brigade Party along with the Nation and ensure that any business or personal association including close personal relationships which they may have, does not create a conflict of interest with their roles and duties in the Brigade. Further, Members and Committee Members of the Brigade shall not engage in any business, relationship or activity, which might conflict with the interest of the Brigade.
If any actual or potential conflicts of interest arise, the concerned Member must immediately report such conflicts and seek approvals as required form NWC. The NWC or competent authority shall revert to the member as soon as possible, so as to enable the concerned member of Brigade to take necessary action as advised to resolve or avoid the conflict in an manner.
a) In the case of Members of the Brigade, the Committee Members of the NWC and State Committee shall be the competent authority, in case of the Member of any Brigade Committee the NWC will be Competent authority and in case of the Committee Member of the NWC the National President is the Competent Authority.
b) Members and volunteer should respect the confidentiality of information and not share any part of the information with any person without due authorisation. Members and Volunteer are not permitted to share financial information of the Brigade with others who do not need to know this information. Financial information should always be safeguarded and disclosed only on a need-to-know basis after obtaining requisite approvals.
c) At the time of Joining the Brigade, the Members of Brigade shall make full disclosure to the competent authority, of any interest leading to an actual or potential conflict that such members or their immediate family (including parents, siblings, spouse, partner, children) or persons with whom they enjoy close personal relationships, may have in a family business or a company or firm that is a competitor, supplier, customer or distributor of, or has other business dealings with, the Brigade.
d) If there is a failure to make the required disclosure and the Brigade Committee becomes aware of an instance of conflict of interest that ought to have been disclosed by an Members and Committee Members of the Brigade, the NWC shall take a serious view of the matter and consider suitable disciplinary action. In all such matters, the NWC shall follow clear and fair disciplinary procedures, respecting the Members right to be heard.
Members have to enjoy comments and appreciation of the Public, even with adverse times need to fight against odds. Our relations with the Public must be the most friendly and supportive. Members and Committee Members of the Brigade maintained the same character for straightforward dealing with the Public. Brigade performance must have to be of the high standard, and therefore the best reputation and realise the best results in the Public. The fact is that with honest and straight-forward principles, close and careful attention to need of the Country, and the ability to accept the circumstances, there is a scope to win support of the Public
a) The Brigade is committed to serve the Country and the Public with required standard.
b) The services Brigade offer will comply within applicable laws and obligations.
c) The Brigade serve the Public on their own merits and not make unfair or misleading statements about any matter.
a) The Brigade support the Democracy and development of the Nation, therefore, Brigade have no competition with any Political Party.
b) The Brigade will not enter into any activity that may defame the Democratic process or the reputation of the Country and may loss the trust of the Public in any manner, even any other Party blaming Members of Brigade as the Public is our final authority.
c) The Brigade will collect required information only in the normal course of business and obtain the same through legally permitted sources and means to support and for the welfare the Public.
d) The dealings of the Members and Committee Members of the Brigade with the Public must be professional, fair and transparent.
e) The Brigade respect the Public rights to privacy in relation to their personal data and must safeguard the Public personal data, in accordance with applicable law.
f) Any meeting of the Member of Brigade with other political Party members, should also report to the competent authority.
g) If any other Party Member makes an untruthful statement about the Brigade, than Members of the Brigade must correct the inaccuracy during that meeting if possible. If this is not possible, raise the issue with the competent authority after the meeting to enable to correct any misrepresentation made.
h) While working with the Brigade, you receive a call from Ex-member of Brigade and request to provide some information, as he was working earlier with the Brigade. IN this case must not share any information and inform to the competent authority immediately.
i) Being Uniformed Discipline Janta Brigade, it is our duty and target to provide the excellence standards of our performance and services to the Public.
j) The Communities: In a free Democracy, the community is not just voter only but is in fact the very important purpose of its existence for success of participative Democracy.
k) Members of the Brigade are committed to good citizens, and shall actively assist in the improvement of the quality of life of the people in the communities.
l) The Brigade engaged to minimise any adverse impact to our Country and Community.
m) The Brigade encourage to volunteer to perform for the benefit the communities and provide the support, where applicable.
Members of the Brigade will strive for environmental sustainability and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The Brigade keen to prevent the wasteful use of natural resources and are committed to improving the environment.
a) The Political partners are working since long for the country, and the Brigade started the actual Democracy initiatives to support the citizens. They have done lots of things for the Country and society, now the Brigade will do for the society like unit of force and fulfil the basic requirement of Education, Health and employment for development of each and every citizen.
b) The Brigade respect the Democratic Partners in all way, however, being disciplined brigade stand alone to perform.
c) The Brigade seek to work with Volunteer, NGOs, Societies, Companies, organizations etc., if they are ready to contribute to the Brigade in discipline way for upliftment of citizen.
d) Our Democratic Partner those are keen to serve the Nation will represent the Brigade only with duly authorised written permission from competent authority. They are also expected to abide by the Principles of Brigade in their interactions with, and on behalf of us, including respecting the confidentiality of information shared with them.
e) The Brigade will ensure that any gifts or hospitality received from, or given to, our Democratic Partners comply with our policy.
The Brigade believe that “the Government means, you, me and every citizen who directly or indirectly contributing for the Country is an important part of the Government. Hence, we give respect, value and support to all.” The Brigade shall act in accordance with the constitution and governance systems. The Brigade do not support any specific political party or candidate for political office. The Brigade will perform to strengthen democratic transparent clean electoral process.
The Brigade will support the government and regulators in a constructive manner in order to promote good governance for the welfare of citizens.
“The Brigade is first Uniformed Political Brigade, a platform for those, who wants to contribute to the Country like a Solider for upliftment of Citizens to provide the basic need to lead a routine life and support to the following agenda of Shiksha, Swasthya or Rojgar”:
a) The Brigade will ensure that no party or organization uses the Brigade Name to further its interests without proper authorisation and all NGOs, organization tec. working with us will be called as the part of the Brigade Associates, and they are also bound to follow POB.
b) The NWC will consider and review policies and guidelines periodically and circulated to the entire Brigade Associates.
c) The Brigade seek to cooperate with companies, including joint ventures, by sharing knowledge, physical resources, human and management resources and adopting leading governance policies and practices in accordance with applicable law including adherence to competition law, where relevant for the betterment of citizens and country.
d) We shall strive to achieve amicable resolution of any dispute between us and any of our Associates organizations, through an appropriate dispute resolution mechanism so that it does not adversely affect the reputation of the Brigade and value.
The Brigade encourage our Members, Team, employees, Associates, Partners and others to raise complains or make disclosures when they become aware of any actual or potential violation of POB, policies or law. We also encourage reporting of any event (actual or potential) of misconduct that is not reflective of our values and aim. Breaking the law is never an option. Discuss the situation with competent authority for a suitable solution with available resources and laws.
This (POB/Code of conduct) is more than a set of guidelines issued solely for the purpose of normal understanding of aim and objectives of the Brigade. It is our collective commitment to our value system and to our core principles. Every Member of Brigade, directly or indirectly, should expect to be held accountable for his/her behaviour. Should such behaviour violate this POB, they may be subject to action according to terms and relevant policies. When followed in letter and in spirit, this POB is ‘lived’ by our Members as well as by the Associates who work with us. It represents our shared responsibility to all, and our mutual commitment to each other.
a) If you are unsure whether a particular action you are about to take is consistent with the principles set forth in the POB, ask yourself:
b) Could it directly or indirectly endanger for someone or for the Nation? c) Is it illegal/unlawful or out of line with policies and procedures of law of the Nation?
d) Does my ethics reject it? Does it conflict with my personal values?
e) Would I feel uncomfortable if the story appeared in the media? Would it shame my family, society or country?
f) If the answer to any of these questions is “Yes”, please stop and consult your Senior Member in Brigade or Committee Members, State District or National President, or any member of the team, to assist you in making the right decision. When you find in this conditions than Stop thinking, take rest and Let’s Discuss.
a) To understand the right and wrong activities always think following one two three formula.
b) If answer to these is “NO” than do that act without any second thought.
c) This POB does not provide a complete explanation of all expectations from the Members of Brigade or obligations from a Volunteers and Partners.
d) Our members have a continuing obligation to familiarise themselves with all applicable law, group-level advisories and policies, Brigade-level policies, procedures and work rules as relevant.
e) This version of the POB is the first version of and will be stand effective till the second version is approved by NWC.

I acknowledge that I have read the POB and I acknowledge that as a Member of Brigade, I am required to comply with the guidelines described therein and failure to do so may take action as per relevant Brigade policies. If I have a concern about a violation, or a potential violation of the POB, I understand that there are channels available to me in the Brigade to report such concerns. By making use of these channels when necessary, I will play my part in maintaining the high ethical standards to which we hold ourselves.
